The kids have done so well in school this year and we have one more quarter. The girls have done a tremendous job, and we are very proud of them. Tyler has done exceptional for his first year of jr. high he has been on the high honor roll two quarters and honor roll this last quarter (3rd quarter was a hard one), and to our joy he has been asked to go to band and German camp, and received a surprise letter from the principal saying that his science teacher had nominated him to attend an accelerated learning camp for science.
These kids have excelled so much since moving to Utah, we are very proud of each of them!!! WAY TO GO KIDS!

We have a teenager!!!
Ty turned thirteen on the 3rd. I can't believe that it has been 13 years since he was a little bundle. On Friday we took him and a friend to the movies and they went and saw Clash of the Titans while Mike and I went and saw Alice in Wonderland. They absolutely love it.
Then on Sat. we went out to dinner with both sets of grandparent to celebrate Tyler & Grandpa Briggs birthday. Then he got to take another friend to the evening egg hunt and then they came back home and played on the x-box for a while.
Ty got a dart board, a tent & a razor. Yea he is shaving now!!! Oh the joys of having a teenager.

First Hula Performance
Well I have been sewing like a mad woman trying to get costumes done for the review in May. I have knocked out about 85% of the costumes, which makes me feel really good. We have our first performance tonight. We are dancing at a friend's Relief Society birthday party. It should be fun, I will post pictures tomorrow.

Happy Valentine's Day
We hope that everyone had a great valentine's day! Spending it with the one's you love is always the best. But remember that you do not need to just show them how much you love and appreciate them just this one day a year, show it often through out the year.
Love from all of us!

How time flys
I can't believe how fast time goes by. I feel like we just got the kids in school and we are already half way through the year. The kids are doing great, and loving being here in Utah. They have several friends, and have adjusted really well. Tyler has moved from the tenor trombone to the bass trombone, and has been asked to be in the honor & jazz band next year. He is really excelling at it, and loves playing. Morgan is doing so much better in school and is reading on a six grade level, when we left CA she was reading on a 2nd grade level. She loves to read now. Autumn is doing great in school as well and is working on passing off her times tables now. She is getting ready to pass off 3's this week, and then we will move onto 4's.
I also can not believe that January has already come and gone and we are now into February. It seems as I get older the faster time goes.
